Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 14A-Bayonne.  After paying toll bear to Right.  Follow signs for Route 440  (Formerly RTE 169).  Go up ramp and then follow signs to Route 440 South.  At traffic light, make a left onto Route 440 South.  Follow signs for the Bayonne Ocean Terminal.

At the first traffic light (Port Terminal Boulevard), make a left and proceed to Gatehouse.

Driving from Manhattan:

Take the Holland Tunnel, Lincoln Tunnel, or George Washington Bridge to New Jersey and follow signs for the New Jersey Turnpike. Follow directions above.

From Verrazano Narrows Bridge:

Take the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to Staten Island.  Take I-278 West to Route 440 North (Exit 9).  Cross the Bayonne Bridge and continue on Route 440 North for about 2.5 miles.  Follow signs for the Bayonne Ocean Terminal.

At the traffic light at Port Terminal Boulevard, make a right and proceed to Gatehouse.

Public Transit to The Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor

Take the PATH to either Hoboken, Newport/Pavonia or Exchange Place. Follow signs to the Hudson Bergen Light Rail “22nd  St. Bayonne” train.

Take the light rail to 34^th St.

The stairs to the pedestrian bridge will take you to Route 440.

The Gatehouse to the Peninsula is located across the street on the opposite side of Route 440.
