BAYONNE LOCAL REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

SPECIAL MEETING


In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 231 of the Public Laws of 1975, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., commonly known as the Open Public Meetings Act, the Bayonne Local Redevelopment Authority announces that there will be a Special Meeting held on Thursday, July 29, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. at the Dorothy E. Harrington Municipal Council Chamber in the Bayonne Municipal Building located at 630 Avenue C, Bayonne, New Jersey.

Pursuant to law, this notice has been posted on the bulletin board in the Municipal Building, filed with the City Clerk, and forwarded to The Jersey Journal and Star Ledger by fax transmission at least 48 hours prior to the meeting date and time.

This meeting is open to the public.

Formal action may be taken.

The purpose of the meeting is as follows:

Resolution #072910-01 Authorizing a closed session, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-12(b)(7) to discuss matters relating to litigation, contract negotiations and the attorney-client privilege.

Resolution #072910-02 Authorizing the Executive Director to execute a Purchase and Sale Agreement with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for the sale of the Landing, Loft and Point Districts at the Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor and to take all actions and execute all documents necessary and required to close the Purchase and Sale Agreement, pursuant to its terms.

Resolution #072910-03 (i) Authorizing the Bayonne Local Redevelopment Authority to participate in the Hudson County Improvement Authority’s Pooled Note Financing Program, (ii) consenting to the Hudson County Improvement Authority’s application to the Local Finance Board on behalf of the Bayonne Local Redevelopment Authority and (iii) authorizing the Executive Director to enter into one or more loans with the Hudson County Improvement Authority and execute one or more note purchase contracts and all other documents necessary and reasonably required in connection with said loans.
